Just finished reading the last chapter of my most recent novel! Reading those last words, I received chills. I’d forgotten why I wrote those last few paragraphs a month or so ago. And yet, the emotional power jumped out and caught me again, grabbed my heart. I’m really proud of this novel. Simplistic. Packed full of fun an smart action. Mythology is present and engaging. Mystery is abundant. Then ending will make you want to read more.
Most important fact I have discovered after concluding the first edit of this novel… my new found obsession with Battlestar Galactica did not hinder the work. Yay!
Moving on. With the novel in its second draft, I’m going to now be sending the manuscript out to a few people to have a read through. Which means it’s time for me to start thinking about queries and summaries during the interim. Groovy. I’m also going to be working on my next project, getting the concept and the outline and other notes ready. A lot of ideas and good stuff is floating around in my head, I need to get all the good juices squeezed out and organized into something tasty.
I promise to post some new and interesting material soon. During the last few weeks, in order to edit, I put my work on a new short story on hold. Hopefully I’ll get to that soon too. Stay tuned.
