Picked up the new dog, Bonni, on Saturday. Oh, wow. The drive to Hemet was loooong. I hate making that drive.
Bonni is super cute. Lots of spirit. But at the same time she’s a little demon! Our other dog, Mac, is not sure what to make of her. So far it seems like Mac thinks this new dog is a squeak toy! And boy… does Bonni squeak. Between the whining and fits of barking, it all just makes me appreciate how much hard work went into training Mac.
Looks like I’m not going to have a lot of long periods of writing. Puppy training is demanding and the nine-to-five is a must. I’ll make it work, though, I’m determined and stubborn as heck.
Aside from the new member of the Harding Clan, I’ve made a decision about my next project: I’m putting the high fantasy for young adults to the side. It needs more research and world building. And I have an itch that needs to be scratched… I need to scratch right NOW! So I’m going to work on a story I’ve had in my head for near four years. More on that later.
