Finally checking in…

It’s been a while since my last post.  I’ve been knee deep in writing when not working the nine-to-five. Right now I’m on Chapter 19 of the Our Monster’s sequel, the word count at about 57,000.  I’m not sure what the end goal is, I don’t think of my novels in terms of word count or number of chapters, nor do I worry about how many chapters I have left. Like I’ve said before, I take detours on the road to novel completion and I never know when I’ll arrive. Sometimes my best work comes from those moments I don’t plan. Anyway, the sequel novel goes well and I am busy at night and weekends plugging away.

On another note, I did a small interview for a site/blog that promotes new and independent authors each month. When I know what day it’ll run, should be next month in May, I will proudly post a link. The site/blog will also be giving a way a free copy of “Our Monsters”. Gotta love third-party promotion and support.

Look out for a new review concerning a young adult sci-fi book called “Partials” by Dan Wells. I read it a while ago but have not gotten around to doing a review… and I should have, it was a great book. Until then. Cheers!
