I’m not sure anyone really understands the amount of tedious work which goes into producing a novel. No, not the writing part but all the odds-and-ends. Type setting. Copy ending. Getting REAPER’S SPIRIT ready for publication is grueling work. I’ve going over pages today trying to see how the layout looks… too many gaps between words look ugly and distracting. And I’ve been trying to figure out if the font size and type are appropriate. Oy. Plus… I’m not finished. Lots more to do. Cheers to all those people at the publishing houses who get the novels ready for printing. My hat is tipped.
Don’t get me started on marketing either. I’ve still gotta get people interested in the book. Another problem for tomorrow. Again I say this simply: oy.
